FOOD/SONTAKKE/VÅGAN
Come May, I will be playing a gig with FOOD (Iain Ballamy/ Thomas Strønen) and Prakash Sontakke under Trondheim Jazzfestival. I am really looking forward to this eclectic meeting, and playing with these boundless musicians. Hope to see you all there!
BIO
He has an expressive style rooted somewhere between jazz, freejazz, rock, freeimprov and electronic music, and utilizes an array of effects in a delicate manner to mangle and distort reality in his own way. He also uses prepared guitars and unorthodox methods to bring forth new sounds from the guitar.
In addition to have toured extensively all over Norway, Sweden, USA, Canada, Russia, Serbia, Germany and the Netherlands, he´s cooperated with many of the most exciting musicians in Norway and has drawn notice to himself through many records over the last years.
